These two wonderful human beings tied the knot in Jamie's small home town in the middle of New Zealand's north island.

Jamie & Patrick currently live in Australia and traveled over to New Zealand to get married. Jamie is a born and bred Kiwi and they both decided getting married at her parents farm in Mangaweka was the perfect idea!

The day included a helicopter ride, which was my first time riding in one.

Jamie arriving to the ceremony in a bulldozer. This one makes more sense once you know they work at the goldmine together and drive bulldozers for work!

And some gorgeous locations on the family farm that I still can't get over.

I loved that every location we photographed at had family history and the fact the whole family had gotten together to pull the entire thing off made it even more amazing.

Here is the epic moment Jamie arrived to the ceremony in a bulldozer, The surprise on Patrick's face was one of the best reactions to a ceremony arrival that I've ever seen.

After the ceremony we headed to the helicopter and I must admit I was slightly nervous! My nerves settled quickly when I was watching the amazing view and shortly we had landed at the top of a gorgeous hill Jamie had chosen for photos.

Lot's of Kiwi and Aussie jokes to be had ;)

Halloween inspired shoot with wedding couple sat at table of skulls.

In mid October I got together with some gorgeous New Zealand vendors to create this dark and moody, vintage, Halloween themed styled shoot that I happened to plan in less then two months.

We found the most gorgeous location just down the road from where I grew up in Wainuiomata, Wellington and it just happened to be owned by people we knew (small world!) who let us use it for the afternoon.

Our models, Grace and Sam are not only wonderful people but a gorgeous and in love couple that we were lucky enough to have join us for the shoot. Hopefully you see them on the blog in a few years time getting married for real!

You see that stunning hair and makeup? That's Rubyretro's gorgeous handy work! Kristy who runs Ruby Retro was so lovely and for the first time working with her I felt like we were old friends.

All the stationary was created by The Ess Letter, I told her the theme of the shoot and she created stationary that fitted it perfectly (such a talented creative!)

A couple shoot in the Wairarapa the night before made picking up our gorgeous cake from CakeLab NZ super easy. Not only was it pretty but everybody joined in on eating it at the end and it tasted fantastic too. (a great bonus!)

The dress was provided by the stunning Trish Peng who was our only non Wellington vendor, based out of Auckland. How gorgeous is that dress on Grace!

The morning of was certainly a busy one. Before props I ran up to get our flowers from Flowers Rediscovered who went above and beyond to provide us with gorgeous flowers that fitted the theme. We then made the short trip up to pick up the gorgeous vintage furniture and props from The Vintage Party. Everything we got was stunning and truly made the shoot come together.
